I know you are fans of effective and easy refashion project! Well here’s a treat!
What’s easier and more effective as a sewing project than adding a cool pocket to a basic crew neck sweatshirt that need a little oumf.
As I had removed the back pockets of one of my vintage Levi’s jeans to give them a Re/Done vibe… I was left with the back pockets of the jeans and so decided these would be just perfect on my sweatshirt. As usual…having fun mixing things up!

For your pocket placement you better put the sweater on and pin the pocket where you want it on the sweater before sewing. Try to do it on a rather heavy fleece sweater. I tried this project on a t-shirt as well and the effect was not as good as the pocket was to heavy. You may want to use a denim shirt pocket if you are refashioning a tee.
Be ready for the crowd asking all the time where you got your sweatshirt;)
